Rekha is a well known South Indian Film actress who has acted in lead roles of large number of Malayalam and Tamil films during the period 1986-96.At present she is acting mostly in character roles.
Her real name is Josephine and was born on 18th May 1970 in Kerala and had her studies at Ootty in Tamil Nadu.
She acted as female lead of Tamil film Kadalora Kavithaigal in 1986 opposite Sathyaraj  which was directed by P.Bharathiraja.The film became a super hit and the new heroine rose to fame instantly.
In the same year she acted in the Tamil film 'Punnagasi Mannan' directed by K.Balachander and the role as ex-lover of Kamal Hassan's character helped her to get established in Tamil Cinema.Kamal Hassan,Revathy,Srividya,and Rekha acted in prime roles of this movie.
Enga Ooru Pattukaran(87) was a film directed by Gangai Amaran in which Rekha and Ramarajan acted in main roles which became a huge hit.Shantipriya,Senthamarai,Senthil etc were the other actors of this film.
Rasave Unnai Nambi was another hit film in which Rekha and Ramarajan were the main leads and was directed by K.J.Bose in 1988.Ramarajan,Tekha,Saritha,Poornam Viswanathan,Malaysia Vasudevan etc acted in it.
In the year 1989 she acted as the heroine of 'Ramji Rao Speaking' a Malayalam film along with Sai Kumar,Mukesh,Innocent,Mamukoya,Sukumari,Devan,Sankaradi,Vijayaraghavan,Kunchan etc  which became a blockbuster hit.This comedy thriller  film was directed by Siddique-Lal.
In the year 1989 she proved her acting skill by playing the lead role of 'Dasaratham' a Malayalam film opposite Mohan Lal directed by Sibi Malayil.Mohan Lal,Rekha,Murali,Nedumudi Venu,Sukumaran,Sukumari,Kaviyoor Ponnama etc acted in it.The film handled the theme of  artificial insemination but projected the mother-child attachment of immense love.The movie written by Lohithadas had  several sentimental and emotive scenes.The film was a critical and commercial success.
In the year 1990 'Aye Auto' directed by Venu Nagavally turned to be a blockbuster  hit film.Mohan Lal acted as 'Sudhi', a poor auto-rickshaw driver and Rekha acted as 'Meenakshi', the granddaughter of a rich banker Krishna Pillai.Mohan Lal,Rekha,Thikkurissi,Sukumari,Murali,Maniyanpilla Raju,Ganesh Kumar,Sreenivasan,Kunchan etc acted in it.
Tamil film 'Guna' was a critically acclaimed film of 1991 in which Kamal Hassan,Roshini,Rekha,S.P.Balasubramanyam,Sharat Saxena,Girish Karnad etc acted.
In the film 'Kaalam Mari Pochu' of 1996 directed by V.Sekhar Pandiarajan,Sangita,Vadivelu,Kovai Sarala,R.Sundara Rajan and Rekha acted in lead roles.This film was remade in Malayalam as 'Arjunan Pillayum Anchu Makkalum'.
In the Malayalam film 'Sundari Kakka' of 1991 she acted in the female lead role.
In the film 'Pavam Pavam Rajakumaran' released in 1990 Sreenivasan and Rekha were the main pair.A parallel college teacher 'Gopalakrishnan' was foold by his friends by making him believe that a beautiful girl was in love with him but that girl was actually unaware of these pranks.The film was directed by Kamal and became a huge hit.
In the film 'Adayalam' produced by Janardhanan and directed by K.Madhu, Mammootty and Rekha played the prime roles.
In the  year 1991 Mohan Lal and Rekha portrayed the main roles of the film 'Kizhakkunarunna Pakshi' which handled the life of music directors, singers etc.Venu Nagavally was the director.Mohal Lal,Rekha,Shankar,Murali,Jagathy,Innocent etc acted in it.
In the 2007 film 'Ivar Vivahitharayal' directed by Saji Srendran, she acted along with  Jayasoorya,Bhama etc in the role as Advocate Nandini.
In the year 2012 she acted in the Telugu film 'Money Money More Money' in the character role as Geetha Madhury.
In 2013 she acted along  with Vijay,Amala Paul,Sathyaraj etc in the Tamil film 'Thalaiva'.
She portrayed a mother role in the film 'Bangalore Days' directed by Anjali Menon in 2014.

Captain Raju

Captain Raju is an acclaimed actor of South Indian Films who has acted mostly in Malayalam and is active in the film field for the past three and a half decades.He has acted in more than 350 Malayalam films, numerous Tamil,Telugu,Kannada films, a few Hindi films and in an English Film.He usually portrayed Character/supporting  roles and Villain roles.He is exceptionally brilliant as a Villain and also as dignified powerful characters like Police Officers,Military Officers,Ministers etc.He has also proved his ability to portray characters with a comedy touch.
Captain Raju was born at Omallur in Pathanamthitta District in the year 1950 to parents K.G.Daniel and Annamma.He was the third child and has six siblings.His parents were teachers who loved their children very much and guided them in a strict manner.He studied for degree course at Catholicate College,Pathanamthitta and after passing out joined Indian Army as an Officer at the age of 21.
Captain Raju left Indian Army in 1978 while he was in the rank as a Captain.He was interested in stage plays and used to act in plays while he was at Mumbai.This experience helped him to earn a role in the film 'Raktham' in the year 1981 which was directed by Joshi.
Captain Raju was well noted soon because of his good personality,tall figure,commanding voice,acting skill etc.He is also good in fight scenes and these qualities earned him large number of Villain roles and Police Officer roles.
He acted in important  roles of  the films 'Thadakam'(82) and 'Iniyenkilum'(83) directed by I.V.Sasi along with Mammootty,Ratheesh,Mohan Lal etc and such films  established his acting career.
His role as 'Pavanayi' in the film 'Nadodikattu' directed by Sathyan Anthikkad was well appreciated and acted along with Mohan Lal,Sreenivasan,Thilakan,Shobhana etc in it.
His role in the super hit film 'Oru CBI Diary Kurippu' directed by K.Madhu was as  Dy.S.P. Prabhakara Varma which received accolades.Sukumaran acted in this film as Dy.S.P.Devadas.
In the film 'August 1' directed by Sibi Malayil in 1988 he received good opinion.
He acted as a Police Officer in the film 'Aranykam' directed by T.Hariharan in 1988.
In the film 'Innale' directed by P.Padmarajan he played the role as a Circle Inspector.It was about an young girl who lost all the past memories after an accident.Shobhana,Jayaram,Srividya,Suresh Gopi,Captain Raju etc acted in it.

In the film 'Puthukkottayile Puthu Manavalan' he was in the key role as 'Madasseri Thampi' and acted along with Jayaram,Annie,Prem Kumar,Harisree Asokan, etc.
In the Blockbuster film 'Oru Vadakkan Veeragadha' written by M.T.Vasedevan Nair and directed by T.Hariharan, he depicted the role of 'Aringodar' an important character.In the film based on 'Vadakkan Pattu stories' Mammootty,Madhavy,Geetha,Chitra,Suresh Gopi,Balan K.Nair etc acted.

In the film 'Elavamkodu Desam' directed by K.G.Geotge he acted as Udaya Varma.
In the super hit film 'CID Moosa' his role as Karunan Chandakkavala was  well liked by the audience.
He was as a Police Officer in the 2004 film 'Wanted' and In the 2004 film 'Sathyam'.
In the 2006 film 'Kilukkam Kilukilukkam' he portrayed the role of Col.Panikkar.
He acted as a College Principal in the 2007 film 'Speed Track'.

In the blockbuster film 'Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja' he acted in the role 'unnimootha' and acted along with  'Mammootty,Sarath Kumar,Padma Priya,Kanika,Nanoj K.Jayan,Jagadeesh 'etc.

In 2011 he acted as Chief minister in the film 'Arjunan Sakshi' directed by Ranjith Sankar.Pritviraj Sukumaran and Ann Augastine  were the main pair.

Captain Raju directed Malayalam films 'Itha Oru Snehagadha' and 'Pavanayi 99.99'.
Captain Raju is married to Prameela and has a Son.

Mamukoya is a well acclaimed character/comedy artist of Malayalam cinema who is  very active for more than three decades.He rose to popularity with his own mannerisms which is liked by the audience and the unique 'Mappilla dialect' and 'Kozhikkode Slang'   earned him much appreciations and accolades.He depicted several  comedy characters which generally  are pure and innocent in their hearts but unknowingly indulges in problems and pranks joining with people of similar nature creating foolishness and  nice comedy scenes.
Mamukoya was born to parents Muhammed and Imbachi Ayisha on 5th July 1946 at Kozhikode.He worked in a timber depot at Kallayi in Kozhikode and acted in stage plays during those days.He earned name as a good stage artist which enhanced his entry into films.
He became familiar to all Malayali people by acting in the super hit film 'Sanmanassullavarkku Samadhanam' directed by Sathyan Anthikad and acted along with Mohan Lal,Karthika,Sreenivasan,K.P.A.C.Lalitha,M.G.Soman,Innocent etc.When Mohan Lal trying his level best to get vacate his rented house, as the Character Ummer, the neighbor of the inmates of the rented house he tried to fight with Mohan Lal.To impress Karthika and K.P.A.C Lalitha he challenges Panicker (Mohan Lal) but when Mohan Lal accepted his challenge and was ready to fight with  Ummer, he  ran away creating roaring laughter in cinema halls.
His popularity was boosted again by director Sathyan Anthikad in the film 'Nadodikattu' and the role 'Gafoorka' portrayed by Mamukoya is still a hit with mimicry artistes.Gafoorka cheated Dasan and Vijayan(Mohan Lal and Sreenivasan) by accepting large sum of money from them to carry them on board in his vessel to Dubai but took them to Chennai instead.Gafoorka's teaching lessons of 'Arabic' to Dasan and Vijayan is still liked by the audience.
In the film 'Mazhavil Kavedy' he acted along with Jayaram,Sithara,Innocent,Paravur Bharathan,Krishnan Kutty Nair,Urvashy etc and his character  in the film is as a  petty thief at  Pazhani but known in his native place as a dignified employee there.
In the film 'Ramji Rao Speaking' his role as the innocent person 'Hamsakoya' chasing Balakrishnan(Sai Kumar) raise much comedy scenes and earned sympathy also.He portrayed that character in a quite natural manner and earned much accolades.
In the film 'His Highness Abdulla' he acted as the friend of Abdulla and when Abdulla (Mohan Lal) disguised as Ananthan Nampoothiri, as Nampoothiri's friend his Mapilla dialects created much comedy.
In the film 'Nagarangalil Chennu Raaparkkam' along with Jayaram,Sreenivasan etc he acted as a mahout at Sreenivasan's (Kunjoottan in the film) house as Cheriya Raman Nair.Kuthiravattam Pappu acted as another mahout 'Valia Raman Nair' and created nice comedy scenes .
In the film 'Vadhu Doctor Aanu' he acted as the character Charlie.Jayaram acted as the hero character who wanted to marry a doctor but happened to marry a veterinary doctor.
The driving lessons of Mamukoya to Sreenivasan in the film 'Thalayanamanthram' was very much liked by the audience.
In the film 'Sallapam' in which Dileep and Manju Warrier were the main pair, Mamukoya acted as a railway worker.
In the film 'Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala' he acted as a friend of Sreenivasan.Sreenivasan acted as an immature,irresponsible husband in this film.Mamukoya acted as 'Usman'.
He acted in the Priyadarshan film 'Megham' in 1999.
In the film 'Pattanathil Sundaran' directed by Vipin Mohan , Dilip and Navya Nair were the main pair.Mamukoya portrayed the character 'Kanaran'.
In the film 'Perumazhakkalam' directed by Kamal in 2004,he acted along with Meera Jasmine,Kavya Madhavan,Dilip,Biju Menon etc as the character 'Abdu'.Mamukoya received Special Jury award from Kerala Government for his role in this film.
He acted in the title role of the film 'Korappan the great' in 2001.
He received Best Comedy actor award from Kerala Film Awards in 2008 for the film 'Innathe Chinthavishayam'.
In 2011 he acted in a serious well noted role in the film 'Snehaveedu' directed by Sathyan Anthikad along with Mohan Lal,Sheela,Padmapriya,Biju Menon,Innocent,Rahul Pillai etc in the role as 'Seithali'.
In 2014 Mamukoya acted in the film 'Mylanchi Monculla Veedu' along with Jayaram,Asif Ali,Kanika,Meera Nandan etc.
He is married to Suhara and has four Children.

T.R.Omana is one of the living legend of Malayalam Cinema who has been in the Cinema field from  1950's itself.She has acted mostly in supporting roles and character roles  and in numerous films she handled mother roles.She has acted as mother from an early age of 23 and had been mother to  yesteryear actors like 'Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair,Sathyan,Prem Nazir,Madhu,Sukumaran,Jayan,M.G.Soman,Nellikode Bhaskaran' etc and also to Mammootty and Mohan Lal.She even acted as the mother of Aranmula Ponnamma in one film.
T.R.Omana was born in Alappuzha to parents T.R.Gopala Pillai and V.L.Meenakshi Amma and her father was a timber merchant.When he suffered heavy loss in business the family shifted to Chennai and the eldest daughter T.R.Omana got chances to act in films.Malayalam films were produced in studio floors of Chennai during those period.
When the directors were convinced that T.R.Omana could handle mother roles excellently she used to be given  such roles consistently and the audience also liked to see her in this type of roles.She was but  the heroine of the film 'Puthradharmam' which was shot at Alappuzha in 1954.That film   was produced by K.V.Koshy and directed by Vimal Kumar.Prem Nazir,Thikkurissi,Miss Kumari,T.R.Omana,Bahadur etc acted in it.
She has earned accolades as a dubbing artist and she lent her voice in majority of the Malayalam  films for Sharada.Acting attains perfection not only by face expression and gestures but rendering of the dialogues with proper stress,emotions,feel,depth,and adequate voice modulations are a major factor.T.R.Omana should be appreciated for  her acting skill and perfection of dialogue presentation in proper emotive scale and stress.Sharada got National Award as Best Actress for films 'Thulabharam' and 'Swayanvaram' in which the voice dubbing for her was done by T.R.Omana.  She has  also dubbed for artists like Zareena Wahab,Lilly Chakravarthy,Waheeda Rehman,Lakshmi,Srividya,Subha etc.for their many Malayalam films.
T.R.Omana is also a trained Kathakali artist and dancer who  has performed Kathakali on stages along with exponents like Kalamandalam Krishnan Nair.
She had been  fortunate to act with yesteryear legends like 'Muthukulam Raghavan Pillai,Sebastian Kunju Kunju Bhagavathar,Augustine Joseph,Miss Kumari,S.P.Pillai,Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair,N.P.Chellappan Nair,Nagavally R.S.Kurup,Kaviyoor C.K.Revamma,Sathyan,Prem Nazir,T.S.Muthayya' and so on.

In the film 'Nalla Thanka' of 1950 she acted along Augustine Joseph,Vaikom Mani,Miss.Kumari,Muthukulam Raghavan Pillai in the role as 'Alankari'.
In the film 'Sasidharan' she acted as 'Indubala' along with 'Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair,Nagavally R.S.Kurup,N.P.Chellappan Nair,Vaikom Mani,Kaviyoor Revamma' etc.
She acted in the film 'Sariyo Thetto' written and directed by Thikkurissi Sukumaran Nair in 1951.Thikkurissi,Miss.Kumari,T.R.Omana,S.P.Pillai,Sebastian Kunju Kunju Bhagavathar etc acted in this film.
In 1955 she acted in the first  realistic art film 'Newspaper Boy' which was written and directed by P.Ramdas.Nagavally R.S.Kurup,Neyyattinkara Komalam,T.R.Omana,Master Moni,Muthukulam Raghavan Pillai etc acted in it.
'Seetha' was a Hindu mythological film directed by Kunchacko in 1960 in which Prem Nazir,Kusala Kumari,Thikkurissi,Hari,T.R.Omana etc acted.T.R.Omana handled the role as 'Malini' in this film.
'Veluthambi Dalawa' was a historical film released in the year 1962 in which Kottarakkara,P.K.Sathyapal,Ambika,N.N.Pillai,Ragini,Sukumari,T.R.Omana,Adoor Bhasi etc acted.
In the film 'Kayamkulam Kochunni' she acted along with actors Sathyan,Usha Kumari,Adoor Bhasi,K.J.Yesudas,K.P.Ummer,Sukumari etc.T.R.Omana acted as Achuthan Nair's (Muthukulam Raghavan Pillai) wife.
She acted in the musical romantic film 'Nadhi' in 1969 along with Thikkurissi,P.J.Antony,Sankaradi,Kaviyoor Ponnamma,Madhu,Ambika,Sharada,Nellikode Bhaskaran,Adoor Bhasi etc.Three families spending vacation on their own house boats near Aluva and the happenings during that period was the theme of the film.
She acted in the film 'Ummachu' directed by P.Bhaskaran along with the main pair Madhu and Sheela.
In 1971 'Karakana Kadal' was a nice movie directed by K.S.Sethumadhavan in which T.R.Omana also acted along with Sathyan,Jayabharathy,Madhu,Vincent,Kaviyoor Ponnamma,Adoor Bhavani,Adoor Pankajam,Nellikode Bhaskaran,Sankaradi.She depicted the character 'Akkachedathi' in this film.
She depicted the character 'Chinnammu' in the film 'Azhakulla Selena' along with Prem Nazir,Jayabharathy,Vincent,K.P.A.C.Lalitha etc.
She acted in the film 'Rathinirvedam' directed by Bharathan in the year 1978 along with Jayabhartathy,Krishna Chandran,M.G.Sonan,K.P.A.C Lalitha,Kaviyoor Ponnamma,Adoor Bhasi etc.
In the film 'Saravarsham' in 1982 she acted along Sukumaran,Zarina Wahab,Mammootty,Sathyakala etc and portrayed the role as Devakiamma.
In the year 1992 she acted along with Mammootty,Urvashy,Parvathy,Janardhanan etc in the film 'Kizhakkan Pathrose' directed by T.S.Suresh Babu.
In the year 1999 she acted in the film 'Friends' along with Jayaram,Mukesh,Sreenivasan,Jagathy Sreekumar,Janardhanan,Cochin Haneefa,Meena, etc which was directed by Siddique.
In the year 1999 she  also acted  in the film 'Megham' directed

 by Priyadarshan and acted along with Mammootty,Dileep,Sreenivasan,Priya Gill,Pooja Batra,Nedumudi Venu,Sukumari,Cochin Haneefa etc.T.R.Omana acted as Col.Ravivarma Thampuran's (Mammootty) mother in this film.
She  acts in T.V.Serials  also and  some of her serials are 'Maanasi,Kazhcha,Chandanamazha,and Deivam Thandha Veedu'.
T.R.Omana has acted in more than 500 films.
