JUHI CHAWLA

Juhi Chawla, was born on 13th November 1967 at Ambala in Haryana to Paunjabi Speaking dad Dr.S.Chawla and Gujarati speaking  mom, Mona.
She completed her schooling and  did her graduation in Mumbai.
The extremely beautiful, charming girl won the prestigious Miss.India title in the year 1984 and in the same year for the Miss.Universe contest she won the Best Costume Award.She is a trained classical dancer and classical singer also.
Juhi entered film field with the 1986 film 'Sultanat' which was directed by Mukul S.Anand and in 1987 she acted in a Kannada movie directed by Ravichandran 'Premalokam' which was a classic film.
In 1988 she acted as the female lead of 'Qayamat se Qayamat Tak' in which Aamir Khan was the hero.The elegant, beautiful heroine with her warmth grace and cute smile  won the hearts of millions of audience and the romantic film became a big box office hit.The film won Filmfare Best movie Award.
In 1989  Aamir Khan,Juhi Chawla pair  again appeared in another romantic movie 'Love Love Love' directed by Babbar Subhash.Aamir Khan,Juhi Chawla,Gulshan Grover,Om Shivpuri were the main actors which was also a success.
In the year 1990 she appeared in lead role of 'Pratibandh' which was  a big hit.This film marked Bollywood debut of Telugu star 'Chiranjeevi'.She received Filmfare Best actress award for this film.
'Shanti Kranti' was  a film made in Kannada,Telugu,Hindi and Tamil which was directed by V.Ravichandran.
In the Telugu version of this film Akkineni Nagarjuna was the male lead and in its Kannada version V.Ravichandran was the male lead.In the Tamil version which was titled as .Nattukku Oru Nallavan' and in the Hindi version Rajanikanth was the male lead.In all the four versions Juhi Chawla was the heroine.
'Doulat Ki Jung' was 1992 film in which Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla paird which was directed by S.A.Kader, but the film was not a success.
In the same year 'Bol Radha Bol' performed well at the box office.
Next year Sunny Deol's 'Lootere' was also a big hit and the film 'Aina' was a successful film.'Aina' was produced by Yash Chopra and directed by Deepak Sareen.Jackie Shroff and Juhi were the leading pair of this film which turned to be a blockbuster hit.This film was remade in Tamil and Telugu.
In the year 1993 her film 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke' directed by Mahesh Bhatt was well received and the director earned Special Jury Award at the National Film Awards.The film also won Filmfare Best Film Award.
Sunny Deol,Sharukh Khan,Juhi Chawla,Anupam Kher etc acted in the 1993 hit film 'Darr'.It was the second film in which Sharukh Khan played the role of a villain.Darr became India's third grossing film of that year.
In the same year Govinda and Juhi Chawla appeared in main roles of the film 'Bhagyawan' directed by S.K.Subhash.
In 1997 she received good responses for her romantic comedy films like 'Ishq,Yes Boss, and Deewana Mastana.'
She formed a nice pair with Sharukh Khan also and gave hits like 'Duplicate,Yes Boss,Darr,Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman' etc.
During the shoot of 'Duplicate' her mother passed away in an accident.
Juhi Chawla appeared in several art movies also like 'My Brother..Nikhil,3 Deewarein,etc.She received much critical acclaim for these movies.
She acted alongside Amitabh Bachchan in the film 'Boothnath'(2008) for  which  she sang a song also.
She acted in several Punjabi films also for which she received accolades.Apart from Hindi, she has acted in Bengali,Kann

She was the heroine of a hit Malayalam film 'Harikrishnans' which was directed by Fazil in which superstars Mammootty and Mohan Lal appeared together in equally important lead roles.
She acted in 'I AM'(2011) in one of the  4 short films of it  and received excellence award at the Asia Vision Movie awards and Best Actress award at the 13th London Asian film festival.
She has appeared in TV Serial  and appeared as host and presenter of film award functions.She was one of the judge for a  TV Dance reality show.
She married industrialist Jay Mehta in 1997 and they have two children.

SITHARA

Sithara is a  popular South Indian actress who was born on June 30, 1973 at Kilimanoor in Kerala.She is well trained classical dancer also and has acted as heroine in several films of Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada  and at present confined to supporting roles and character roles.
Her entry to films was by a Malayalam film 'Oridathu' directed by the genius director G.Aravindan in 1986 while she was a student at Lourdes Mount School,Vattappara,Trivandrum.It was followed by heroine role in the well noted film 'Kaveri' and  she presented excellent acting skill.
She received accolades for her well noted acting talents in the hit film 'Jathakam' directed by Suresh Unnithan in 1989.
She received praise for her acting skill as 'Maya'  in the film 'Vachanam' directed by Lenin Rajendran.
K.Balachander gave her  the main role opposite Rahman in the 1989 Tamil super hit film 'Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal.The film and songs composed by Ilayaraja which were sung by S.P.Balasubramanyam became extremely popular.This was followed  by the  hit film 'Pudhu Pudhu Ragangal'.
Tamil film 'Pudhu Vasantham' acted opposite Murali became another super hit and in Tamil also Sithara became a busy actress of  that period.
In Malayalam her film 'Mazhavil Kavadi' directed by Sathyan Anthikkad received much accolades and became a super hit sensation.In this romantic comedy film Innocent,Jayram,Mamukoya,Urvashy,Krishnankutty Nair,Bobby Kottarakkara,Paravur Bharathan etc acted along with Sithara.
In 1993 Malayalam film 'Chamayam' in which Manoj K.Jayan acted as the hero along with Murali,Saikumar etc was a super hit film which contained nice songs and song sequences and the film was directed by Bharathan.
From 1990  Sithara acted in Telugu films and from 1994  she  got offers from  Kannada films.She acted opposite all the famous heroes of Kannada in that period like Vishnu Vardhan,Sashi Kumar,Anant Nag etc.
In 1994 her Kannada film 'Halunda Tavaru' acted opposite Vishnu Vardhan was a big musical hit which was directed by Rajendra Babu and she became an established actress in that language.
In the Malayalam film 'Bharya Onnu Makkal Moonnu' she acted opposite Rajasenan who was also the director of the film and earned accolades.
The Kannada film ' Naanu Nanna Kanasu' of 2010 in which she acted in the role as 'Kalpana' along the main pair Prakash Raj and Amoolya was well noted.





In the 2014 released Telugu super hit movie 'Legend' she acted as the younger sister of hero Nandamuri Balakrishna.
In Tamil her character roles in films like 'Padayappa' and Natpukkaga' were also nice and appreciated by the audience.
She finds time to act in TV mega serials also and Tamil serial like 'Parasakti' earned nice opinion.

RAHMAN (ACTOR)

Rahman, born as Roshin Rahman hails from Nilambur in Kerala and was born in Abudhabi,U.A.E., on 23rd May 1967. He  has acted in more than 150 films in Malayalam,Tamil and Telugu.He has already completed 30 years in cinema.
His debut film was 'Koodevide' which was written and directed by P.Padmarajan in which Suhasini and Mammoottty were the main pair.Rahman received Kerala Government Award as second Best Actor for that film.He was a teen model in Malayalam cinema during 80's and has appeared as lead actor of several films also and acted opposite Rohini,Shobhana,Karthika etc.His film 'Parannu Parannu Parannu' directed by P.Padmarajan was a big hit.He acted along with all eminent actors of those period in Malayalam.
In Tamil he became lead actor in late 80's and early 90's and acted in films of all great directors of that language.













Rahman had his studies at Baldwin Boys High School in Bangalore,St.Joseph's school,Abudhabi,Rex Higher secondary school in Ootty,and at Nilambur College.After the success of the film 'Koodevide' he acted in several films in supporting roles or as lead actor in films  like 'Kanamarayathu,Uyarangalil,Vaartha,Thammil Thammil,Punnaram Cholli Cholli,Poomukha Padiyil Ninneyum Kathu,Pappan Priyapetta Pappan,Parannu Parannu Parannu' and many more.When he became lead actor in Tamil he took a long break from Malayalam films and reappeared after 2000 only and started acting in supporting roles.
Rahman's first Tamil film was 'Nilave Malare' which was released in 1986 and was directed by S.A.Chandrasekhar.
After some more films in Tamil he shifted completely to Tamil and Telugu films.His screen name in Telugu is  'Reghu'.
'Adiyozhukkukal' was a hit film directed by I.V.Sasi in 1984.Mammootty,Mohan Lal,Seema and Rahman were in the main actors  of this film.
Rahman and Rohini were the main pair of the successful film Parannu Parannu Parannu directed by P.Padmarajan.
Rahman,Shankar and Zareena Wahab were in the lead roles of 'Punnaram Cholli Cholli' directed by Priyadarshan.It was about  a teen aged boy who studies at Ootty school and spends vacation at his father's native village and the happenings over there.
In the suspense thriller 'Uyarangalil' written by M.T.Vasudevan Nair and directed by I.V.Sasi he handled an important role along with Mohan Lal,Nedumudi Venu etc.
Mammootty,Shobhana,Rahman and Seema were the lead actors of 'Thammil Thammil' directed by Sajan in 1985.
Sajan directed 'Kandu Kandarinju' in which Rahman,Nadia Moidu,Menaka and Mohan Lal acted.
'Kariyilakattupole' was a critically and commercially successful film  directed by P.Padmarajan in which Rahman,Jalaja,Karthika,Mohan Lal,Mammootty etc acted.
Shobhana and Rahman were the lead actors of the hit film 'Chilambu' directed by Bharathan.
Pappan Priyapetta Pappan was a comedy theme film directed by Sathyan Anthikkad in which Mohan Lal,Rahman,Lizy,Nedumudi Venu,Unni Mary,Bahadur etc acted.
Rahman came back to Malayalam in 2000's and acted in films like 'Black,Rajamanikyam,Mahasamudram,Goal,Veruthe Oru Bharya,Mumbai Police' and many more.
In Tamil he has many hits like 'Puthu Puthu Arthangal directed by K.Balachander in 89,Puriyaadha Pudhir' directed by K.S.Ravi Kumar in 1990,'Nee Pathi Naan Pathi' directed by Vasanth in 91,'Thambi Pondatti' directed by Panchu Arunachalam in 92,'Udan Pirappu' directed by P.Vasu in 93' and many more.
In Malayalam  he was the lead actor of 'Musafir' in 2013.
He is active in south Indian languages especially Malayalam,Tamil and Telugu at present.
