KALPANA IYER

Kalpana Iyer is  Bollywood's former supporting actress and dancer who earned much fame as a disco dancer in many films.She was liked by the youngsters of 80's and 90's for he excellent item number dances and her vamp type characters which she portrayed in many films of those period.
Kalpana Iyer was born in the year 1955 and she got popularity as the first runner-up of Miss India Contest held in 1978.
In the film 'Pyara Dushman' her dance sequence and the song 'Hari Om Hari' became very popular.Rakesh Roshan and Visya Sinha were the lead pair of this film.
In the film 'Wardaat'(81) directed by Ravikant Nagaich she portrayed the character 'Anuradha' and her dance number in this film earned much acclaim.
Mithun Chakraborty and Kajal Kiran were the lead pair of this film.
In the film 'Arman' she had only a special guest appearance but the song 'Rambha Ho' and her dance sequence earned much accolades.
In the 1982 film 'Partner' her dance number 'Dilrooba' was  liked by the audience.
Her role as the character 'Nikki Brown' in the film Disco Dancer received critical acclaim.
Her role as Ranjit's assistant in 'Satte Pe Satta' was well noted.
The role as a prison warden in the film 'Anjaam' in 1994 which was directed by Rahul Rawal earned her much appreciation.
Her roles in films 'Raja Hindustani(96) and 'Hum Saath Saath Mein(99) also received good opinion.Salman Khan and Karishma Kapoor were the lead pair of 'Hum Saath Saath Mein'.
