FARYAL

Faryal is  former Bollywood actress who became popular as a Cabaret dancer in several films.
She was born as 'Faryal Manmohan' to an Indian father and Syrian mother  on 
November 3, 1945 in Syria.
She studied  at Simla and  Mumbai in India and worked as an Air hostess in Air India for a short period before joining films as an artist.
Faryal was heroine of her debut film 'Zindagi aur Maut' opposite Pradeep Kumar in 1965.
The songs and song scenes of this movie is still loved by the audience.
Then she acted as heroine of Shashi Kapoor in the film 'Biradari' which was not a success at the box Office.
Her role as a Cabaret Dancer in the super hit film 'Jewel Thief' earned her accolades and she was cast by other directors for more such roles in many films.Faryal was not at all interested in dancing and had no formal training in dance but the audience loved to see her as a dancer and she was compelled to accept such roles again and again.
Her roles in Rajesh Khanna film 'Sachcha Jhuta' and Dharmendra film 'Man Ki Aankhen' were well noted.
She retired from films after 1984 film Jeetendra starrer 'Gold Medal'.
