Babita is actor Randhir Kapoor's wife and mother of Bollywood heroines Karishma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.
Babita is a former Bollywood heroine actress who was very famous during 60's and 70's.She could act in 78 films in protagonist roles during her film career which was stopped after her marriage with actor Randhir Kapoor.
Babita was born on April 20, 1948 in Mumbai.
Her entry in to films was through a G.P.Sippy's  film.
'Raaz' (67) was a nice movie of Ravindra Dave in which Rajesh Khanna appeared in double role.Babita acted as his pair in this film.
'Farz(69) was a super hit film directed by Ravikant Nagaiah.Jeetendra was her pair.
Biswajeet and Babita acted in main roles of Kismat(68) directed by Manmohan Desai.Biswajeet dressed as a woman in the song scene 'Kajra Mohabbat wala' in this film.
In the film 'Haseena Maan Jayegi' Shashi Kapoor was the hero.Shashi Kapoor acted in double role of this film which was directed by Prakash Mehra.
This film which was acted opposite her Uncle in law was the biggest box office hit of her film career.
In the film 'Kal Aaj Aur Kal' three generations of the Kapoor family is appearing.It stars Prithviraj Kapoor,his son Raj Kapoor, Raj Kapoor's son Randhir Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor's  'real life- wife-to be' Babita.It was produced by Raj Kapoor and directed by Randhir Kapoor.
'Ek Haseena Do Diwane' was 1972  romance film directed by S.M. Abbas.Jeetendra and Babita were the main pair.
After her marriage with Randhir Kapoor  she had to quit acting career.

Aruna Irani is a veteran actress of Bollywood who still acts in motherly roles.She is  director and producer of television  serials and also acts in them.She has to her credit serials like 'Mehndi,Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand,Tere Naam Ki,Vaidehi' etc.
Aruna Irani made her debut in the 1961 film 'Ganga Jamna' directed by 'Nitin Bose' and produced by Dilip Kumar.Vyjayantimala and Dilip Kumar acted in the main roles and Aruna who was only nine years old then, had a small role as 
the childhood role of character 'Kamla'.The mature Kamala's role was handled by 'Azra'.
Then she appeared in small and big  roles in films like Jahanara(64),Farz,Upkar(67),Aulad(68)Naya Zamana(71) and many more.
Upkar(67) directed by Manoj Kumar was a super hit film at the box office.
Aruna appeared as the character 'Nisha' in the 1971 film 'Caravan' directed by Nassir Hussain.Jeetendra and Asha Parekh were in the lead roles.Aruna Irani danced with Jeetendra for the song 'Chadti  Jawani Meri Chaal Mastani'  and in the song scene 'Ab Jo Mila Hain To' Aruna Irani,Jeetendra and Asha Parekh acted.

Aruna Irani was the lead female character of the film 'Bombay to Goa(1972).
Amitabh Bachchan,Shatughan Sinha,Mehboob etc were the other main actors.This was Amitabh Bachchan's first film as the main lead character.
In the film Bobby(73) directed by Raj Kapoor the song 'Ae Ae Ae Phansa' was picturized on Aruna Irani.Aruna acted as the character Nima for this film which turned to be a blockbuster top grossing film of 73.
Aruna Irani acted as the lead female role of the 1973 film 'Do Phool'.
In the film 'Roti Kapda aur Makan' she acted as the character 'Poonam' along with Manoj Kumar,Amitabh Bachchan,Shashi Kapoor,and Moushmi Chatterjee.
She got first filmfare Best Actress Award for the 1984 film 'Pet Pyar aur Paap'.In the 90's she changed to motherly roles.She got second  Filmfare Best Supporting actress award for the film Beta(92).
She acted in Marathi films like  'Changu Mangu,Lapwa Chapvi,Ek Gadi Baki Anadi and Bol Baby Bol'.
In 2002 she acted in 'Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam' with Sharukh Khan,Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit.
In 2010 she appeared in the film 'Khatta Meetha' directed by Priya Darshan in which Akshaya Kumar acted as the hero and Trishna acted as heroine.
In 2012 she was awarded Filmfare Life Achievement Award at the annual filmfare  award  function held in Mumbai.

Deepti Naval astonished millions of film lovers with her amazing acting skills 
in several films as the heroine and also as a supporting character.She was chosen mainly for art-house movies and middle-path cinema during the late 70's and  80's and she proved herself as equal to Shabana Azmi, Smita Patil acting abilities.
Deepti Naval was born on 3 Feb 1957 to Uday C Naval and Himadri Naval in Amritsar,Punajab.
She took her Bachelors Degree in fine arts from an American University.
Her entry to films was in 1977 by a small supporting role in the film 'Jalian Wala Bagh'.She did a role in the film 'Junoon' which was directed by Shyam Benegal in 1978 for which critical acclaim was received.
In 1980 she acted  in the lead female role of film 'Ek Baar Phir'.This film dealt with the conflicts of a film star husband and a traditional wife.It was directed by Vinod Pande.
'Hum Paanch' directed by Bapu in 1980 has an array of stars like 'Sanjeev Kumar,Shabana Azmi,Mithun Chakraborthy,Nasurudeen Shah,Raj Babbar,Gulshan Grover,Amrish Puri and Deepti Naval'.It was produced by Boney Kapoor and his brother young Anil Kapoor acted in a cameo  role in this film.
'Angur' directed by Gulzar in 1982 was about two identical twins separated at birth and meet in adulthood.
In the film 'Shriman Shrinmati' she acted along Sanjeev Kumar and Rekha.

Farooque Shaikh and Deepti Naval were successful leading pairs in several films like 'Chasme Buddoor' which was a classic comedy.
Deepti Naval played lead role in 'Hip Hip Hurray' directed by Prakash Jha in 1984.Its screenplay was written by Gulzar.
In 1985 she got much appreciation for her wonderful performance in the title role of film 'Kamla'.She has taken pains for the excellence of that character.
'Mirch Masala' directed by Ketan Mehta in 1987 got wide acclaim.In this film she acted as the pair of Suresh Oberoi.He won National award for his best performance as supporting actor.Nasurudeen Shah and Smita Patil acted in lead roles of this film.
Raj Babbar and Deepti were the lead characters of National award winning Punjabi film 'Marhi Da Deeva' which was directed by Surinder Singh in 1989.
Later she acted mainly in supporting roles and character roles of main stream films.She had a long gap in the acting career but  returned to the field.
In 2003 she proved her worth again as Ms.Thomas in the film 'Freaky Chakra' which got good opinion.
She is directing her first film at present as well as acting in films and T.V.Serials.
In 2013 she starred in Sudhir Mishra's 'Inkaar' and also in 'Aurangazeb'.
She is a poet also and has published two books of her collection of poems.
