In the year 1976 a film 'Chit Chor' was released all over India which was produced by 'Rajashree Productions', the production house which always promoted fantastic artistic films only.
'Chit Chor' means one who stole the heart and it was true in the case of the pair 'Amol Palekar and Zarina Wahab' that they literally stole the heart of all Indians by that film. The director and
other technicians have their contributions for that achievement. But the natural way of acting
displayed by both Amol Palekar and Zarina Wahab were  very much appreciated. There was one
more person who stole the hearts of millions of Indians through the film 'Chit Chor' none other than the pride of Kerala Shri.K.J.Yesudas.All the songs of this picture which the music composed by Ravindra Jain are  having charismatic qualities that  they are still enjoyed by a large
mass of people.
In 1977 Zarina Wahab was very much lucky to act with M.G.R. for his film 'Nava Rathinam' in

beautiful location, excellent acting skills presented by all actors especially Kamal Hassan and
Zarina, fantastic melodious songs composed by Salil Dada all made it a celebration by Malayalis.
In 1979 she  had to her credit one more super hit film 'Sawan ko Aane Do'.
The director who made a new path of film making 'Bharathan' who possessed a brilliant
vision and look out utilized Zarina Wahab for his 1980 Malayalam  film 'Chamaram' and 1981 film 'Palangal'.Both those films in which Nedumudi Venu was in key roles received accolodes

and good opinions from critics of course  for Zarina also.

In 81 , 82  and 85 she appeared in several pictures in Malayalam like,Sara Varsham,Enthino Pookkunna Pookkal,Manassariyathe,Punnaram Cholli Cholli etc.Out of these the romance
of Rahman and Zarina Wahab in 'Punnaram Cholli Cholli' directed by Priya Darshan was
quite interesting.
